Think it will be a tight and cagey affair. Wouldn't be surprised if it is decided by a moody penalty and / or hotly debated VAR call.

Much depends if England do a Spurs and fail to show up.

I expect the Championship-level centre midfield of Rice and Phillips to be exposed today. The quality Italy have in the middle will have those two wondering what day it is for the 90 minutes.

England have been really fortunate not to see those two journeymen swamped so far. They are two players out of their depth by such a margin it's laughable.

This is going to be an embarrassment by 10 o'clock tonight. All the palaver over this lot - who've had a comfy draw to the final and all but one home game - will be settled and they and their fans can go back under a rock for another 18 months.
