I think with Italy winning the tournament and winning two pen shootouts they were obliged to give it to an Italian player and given that no Italian player has scored more than 2 goals it makes sense why they gave it to donnarumma for his shootout performances as he created history tonight as it’s the first time a side has won 2 pen shootouts at the same euros.

That's what you would think, in the same way i think it would be Pickford if England won, should be Pickford anyway really

I think literally any English manager in the PL would do better than him. People forget what an absolute joke he was in club management.

He’s a mid table manager. Setting his team out to play like a mid table side. The critics will point to more success than many more celebrity managers (and there are a lot of defensive managers around).. but when you lose not giving it a go, fingers will always be pointed at the mindset.

Well, we'll never have a better chance to win a major tournament in the rest of my lifetime, I think. Facts are that we were leading at with 24 minutea left, and then were at a goal advantage up in the penalty shootout.

I will be surprised if I live to see us get that close ever again,

I'm not really much of an England fan, but honestly I think you'll be surprised. A couple of lucky draws, but on talent alone you've seen a squad do well last two major tournaments and that breeds familiarity with success in tournament football.

I don't know whether England will win one anytime soon, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion they won't. They're legitimately one of the best sides in international football, all while being managed by an actual clown.

I am as patriotic as anybody over England , but I couldnt be doing with crap like that.
Those players are the future of the team if anybody dosnt like it fk off and support sombody else.
