Instead of being proud of what the team have achieved and how far they’ve come, I myself wanting to distance myself from England because of the vile group of fans that ruin it every time. They almost make me feel better about losing because those ppl don’t deserve nice things whatsoever
I know what you are saying but this is a team we should be proud of. Don’t let the small amount of utter, utter scum that follow it take away from that. Sadly with football the minority tend to be the most obvious. As they are the ones at stadiums and on TV. BBC and ITV probably had around 30m plus watching in total tonight. That’s a lot of people that aren’t complete scumbags (god I wish I could use stronger words beginning with c on here sometimes).

What a fantastic tournament this was. Seriously might be my favorite summer of football. The day with France-Switzerland and Spain-Croatia will probably never be topped for a single day of international football. An absolute belter and I can't wait for 2022.
Meh, hated the different venues crap, half-empty stadiums, all a bit crap IMO, was some good footy on show at times, but overall I found the quality lacking.

Crowds don't really make major tournaments for me. Lot of waves because it tends to be so many neutrals who don't have anything to really yell or sing about.

And I thought the footy was great. There are still some sides that I wish would open it up and show their talent (that's not a shot at England, France and Portugal are definite examples here too) but all in all the games were entertaining. I had a lot of fun.

Wonder if some club will try to get Mancini back to the Primier League after this win.
Roberto Mancini, the manager behind Italy’s renaissance, has been crying solidly since full-time and is still in shock “after achieving something incredible”.

“We don’t even realise what we have managed to achieve,” he said. “We are delighted for people and the Italian public because they really deserve this after what has been a trying period. This is great joy for us.

“I cried on this ground 30 years ago after the 1992 European Cup final [when Sampdoria lost to Barcelona]. That really hurt back then. Winning the European Championship for the first time since 1968 and bringing home the trophy I do think it is something incredible.

“It [crying] was the emotion which happens after achieving something incredible. It was the emotion of seeing the guys celebrate and the fans in the stands. Seeing everything we have managed to create, all of the hard work we have put in over the last three years but specifically the last 50 days which have been very hard.

“It’s the fact we have been able to forge this team spirit over the last 50 days, they have really created something which can never be separated going forward. They will always be synonymous with this triumph.”

What a cry baby or something.

I was at the Maracana for Chile v Spain in the world cup. The place was absolutely surrounded with Brazilan cops and army, all with full body armour and sub machine guns. Over 100 Chile fans still managed to breach the fences and get in.
It's not that hard if it is a large crowd and out of the blue.

Not suggesting it's right of course, just that it is not as hard as you may think
