I just don't get too bothered over football anymore, it's a game not life and perspective is everything. However, last night's result did get to me more than usual. With Everton disappointment is now a weekly event and any sharpness nullified by the frequency. After Benitez's appointment it feels like all enthusiasm has waned and zero interest not far off. By contrast England"s last two major tournaments have had a different feeling, were winning a match was far more likely given kind draws, hence losing was a greater downer.

Italy deserved it tbh because mancini is a proper manager. The racist comments are unfortunately all too expected but isn't Bonnunci a big massive racist?
I think we all believed the hype that he was actually a decent player and would steady the midfieod. If he was fit then his players days are numbered as he was woeful. When he tried to pass forward I think he found a player once.

Just checked the BBC fan ratings and obviously the poor fellas who missed their kicks were bottom followed by the great disappearing king of all captains who led by example by hiding .
