If I was involved in 3 penalty shoot out and
Lost 3 = 100% loss rate
Lost 2 = 66% loss rate
Lost 1 = 33% loss rate

Im not brightest but I don’t get that stat.

Out of 9 penalty shootouts in major tournaments, England have only won 2.

2 is 22% of 9 thus a 22% win rate in penalty shootouts.

We lost control of the midfield and we were then unable to use Kane to pull them out of position.

His job was to sit like Rice he replaced and be part of a back 7, did Rice and Phillips ever offer anything in the whole tournament, the job of the CM thanks to a Dinosaur manager like Southgate is to not cross the halfway line and shield the back 5, it's why England were so negative and awful to watch this tournament even more so in the final, utter turgid setup.

England lost because of Southgate, England scoring earlier was the worst thing as the team dropped back even further which put the attack even further from the Italian box, against 2 cbs at 38 and 35 and England never had them in trouble.

Bringing on Sancho and Rashford seconds from the end of Extra time shows what a Dinosaur coward Southgate is, why not bring them on for 25-20 mins and try and avoid penalties, he brought them on for THE penalties.

Kane didn't have ONE touch in the penalty area, top 3 striker on the planet and that's how Southgate used him.

34% of possession with TWO shots in 120 minutes, Southgate should be getting destroyed in the media, what a balls up setup and tactics for a final when you score so early , in Qatar Germany will be back under Flick, Spain, Portugal, Belgium Holland France and the glorious Italy will all be better.
