He and the coaching staff should all be absolutely ashamed of themselves for putting that lad in that position, or for allowing the player to put himself in it. He's 19, the impact on his life could be catastrophic and they should have known that. You intervene and stop it from happening unless it's forced (had the pens gone down the line).
