I think Europa will be a good reintroduction to European Football...a 'gentler' re-acquaintance to things Continental. And whilst the Mancs could mathematically still upset our applecart, I maintain a healthily optimistic Europe-bound denouement to Everton's 2013/14 travels (and travails!).

5th and 6th get a Europa place so EFC are definitely in for next season barring some sort of apocalyptic event occuring. 5th is far more preferable as you enter on the 30th July (ish) rather than the middle of the month. 6th has to play 4 games to get in the group stage!

Are Spurs fans Pro or anti Europa League mate?

I don't think United will win at Southampton so I think we're pretty much guaranteed EL.

Spurs can be inconsistent too.

We just need to look after ourselves, 6 points would be perfect, but four from our last too would sort us out, with only 3 points needed.

I am pro Europa League. Why? Because we can watch out team compete on a European level which could make us internaionally more attractive and renowned. Of course it is a big ask to do well in all competitions, but still it is so much fun to see what how we actually fair against European oppositions even if for little financial remuneration.

I think Gibbo is gonna bring that to midfield when he's back fit next season, at times this season we've missed his quick forward passes from deep in midfield IMO.

But we do need either Barkley to step up and be more creative in the No.10 role or bring in a player (Firmino, Tadic or Rafinha on loan from Barca) who's capable of playing there who can unlock the tightest of defences at will.
