Haha quality post!

Very tough group, any of 3 teams can realistically win it. However we have a secret weapon you will not have heard of.... Tony Hibbert..... the difference maker, we're just not sure who he will make the difference for.

Thanks ! Tough... group, for the Toff...ees indeed ;)
Don't you think we have our secret weapon as well ?
Bow before Rony Rodelin, supreme striker so skillfull that most of football experts don't understand his talent ! They focus on the scoresheet and the stats, not seeing how unpredictable his "talent" makes him play, how it totally disturbs the opponents and allows us to win !

And of course we own another weapon, just in case, in the person of Divock Origi. He had a call from Brendan Rodgers, he told him he will have his signature fee doubled if he scores against you !

You've got remarkably good English mate

Thanks, part of my job includes translation.

Or... just maybe... I'm a Liverpool fan who just couldn't resist the temptation to mess with you incognito
But then I guess I would've done much more grammatical mistakes if it were so lol

Hahahaha. 2-0 Lukaku and Mirallas ;)

It would seem very unlikely that two strikers of yours would score an own goal in the same game. Doubt your forecast mate.

Great preview mate. 13-0 Eberton.

Eberton ? What's that ? ;)

Just go mate. I've booked up and am hoping for a massive allocation. Even if not they play in a 50k stadium with a 35k average crowd so we should be able to get in their end as a last resort.
Think i will do, planning on driving from Liverpool there and back, lads chip in for juice and it'll cost £20 each, ferry hotel, night out in new city, be mad not to!

I was thinking of making the trip into a long promised Paris mini break for the wife.

How handy would it be taking a train from Paris to Lille?

Thanks ! Tough... group, for the Toff...ees indeed ;)

Eberton? Oh, its a long standing forum "joke" from early days when the club wernt keen on the site using Everton logos/badges and stuff. Copyrights and that. So we use Eberton sometimes.

I can't wait for the European edition of 'My Football Diary'

Tales of taking a piss in a foreign urinal and being forced at gun point to suck off a russian. It's going to be beautiful Mick.

The stuff dreams are made off. Wolfsberg and Lille both has piss dungeons.

How are people getting to and from Lille from the North West?

Virgin train Liverpool to London (£25 return if u book it right) london to Lille (eurostar £69 return was the best i seen)

game was played in Krasnodas... here no violence,,, dont afraid)))

ITS A TRAP!!!!!

We've just booked the train from Paris to Lille - takes just over an hour and return trip is costing us just under £30 each.

Don't do it mate.

This has the potential to come back on you at a later date. Something like this...

' Well we only went to Paris because Everton were in europe anyway '. Swerve it ! Thats my advice to you. Trust me, she will see you as a two birds with one stone bellend if you do.

Paris needs to be done as a surprise, with nothing else going on.

Definitely wont get moved, been not even a hint of trouble actually inside russia. Deffo worth the trip as its gonna be likely one of those one of games to a weird location that make footy special like
Hope you are right, if it was anywhere else in Russia id be confident and book something, but with it being so close to the conflict im wary, , think I'll wait and see if the club put a charter on, the only problem with Thomas Cook is they will cancel at the last minute if they don't get the numbers, visa can be sorted in a couple of days

Speaking as someone who worked a pre season trip to Servette into his honeymoon I think he should have what it takes to do the match AND the trip!!! Although you are right. Surprise trip to Paris for romantic reasons is the best way to do it!!!

Looking forward to these matches. Still wondering why Spurs in C meant Everton couldn't be drawn into groups A-F. Do group winners from A-F get seeded into the top half of the knockout round draw and group winners from G-L get seeded into the bottom half or something?

Visa normally takes about ten days from posting it off mate, can get a expedited one for more mobey though, a lot easier if your near london or edinburgh as you can hand in and puck up as well

Theirs no chance of the conflict spreading into russia which it would gave to do to force a switch in venue though in the grand scheme of thibgs its like troubles in belfast causing a goodison game to be swapped - crap analogy i know

Surely travel insurance would cover it if you can't go due to war ?
