i remember when we played wolfsburg in a friendly,we bought a ticket were 5 people could travel for about 22 euros from hanover return.

it's called "Niedersachsen Ticket", costs 22-38 and works till Hamburg and Bremen in regional trains for one day

booking of special prices can be done up to 3 months before date of travel till 3 days before (I think)
prices may rise fast, especially for Friday or busy dates.
with special prices you have to use the booked train, no other one

Do you still have Guten Abend (sp.) & Wochenende tickets ?

Me and the Mrs once went from Berchtesgaden (where she worked) to Aachen for 12Marks & I think it was another 4 people could have travelled on the ticket with us, took all day (6am-11pm) like but at that price it was a steal.

Is there any truth in the rumour that we are getting 8000 tickets for the lille game ?

Judging by the Lille game the other night I think we already have.

13 changes we had that day, got 1st train out of Berchtesgaden and got to Aachen on last one, they gave us a print of all of the times & changes and only 1 was late, we had a 6 min changeover time but it was in the middle of nowhere on a regional border, everyone on our train and the other train were swapping places so it waited for us, cpl of them were only 3 mins swap time so it was a mad dash cos the only info they didnt provide us was which platform we had to change to, with a backpack as well it was a bit of a panic. Got there though.

not realy sure, options on portrait on our works printer gives 4 options but 2 dont fully print so I printed the other 2 options, think,but I may be wrong but the bar code on the lanscape version may be to large for the scanner to read

Flying to Amsterdam the night before then taking the first train to Wolfsburg on the Thursday morning. Anyone else doing this route? Flight was £50 and the train is 29 euros.

Looks like they've gone up to about £80-90 now but flying from Liverpool on the earlier of the 2 easyjets

Skyscanner.net is a good comparison site. If you can get to Stansted or Luton they have cheaper prices. Im on Stansted to Berlin was only £100 return
