I just want to go to a european way, not fusy on which one, although obviously the bigger team would be my preference.

I'd love a dutch away cause their fans are boss, Dutch, German or Spanish team away.

Do I stand a chance at getting tickets? Would be after two?

No chance of getting one off the club for any of those 3, you would for something like Ukraine though
I think there will be a few knocking about, but don't get hopeful, Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan await!

Who do we want to win tonight?

Depends if you want pot 2 or 3.

For pot 2, you want APOEL, BATE Borisov, Celtic, Steaua Bucharest and RB Salzburg to all progress.
Pot three, is Vice Versa, Pot three means chance of a German away, we all want that, but pot two presents 'easier' games, with the chance of further travelling.

I think as it stands we are in pot 3. So we need results to go our way tomorrow aNd hopefully Lyon go out on Thursday and we are back in pot 2.

Yeah, as Celtic Lost today, the knock on effect has seen us drop to top of pot three, this of course will be rectified should any of the teams playing in the Europa League who are ranked above us lose. However, should Steaua Bucharest or Red Bull lose tomorrow, then we'll need two or three to drop out, we need a maximum of three to drop out though now.

So to get in pot 2 what has to happen tomorrow?

Steaua + Red Bull Salzburg both need to progress ideally to make our task easier. However, despite both winning 1-0, and 2-1 respectively, they go away tomorrow.

So as APOEL and Bate Borisov won, and therefore progressed to the Champions League, we need a maximum of three europa league sides ranked 'higher' than us to be eliminated.

  • Paok (0-1 down to Zimbru, with home leg to come)
  • Lyon (2-1 down to Astra Ploitesi, with away leg to come)
  • Metallist (0-0 with Ruch Chorzow, with home leg to come)
  • FC Twente (0-0 with Karabakh, with home leg to come)
Are probably our best bet to 'climb'

Sorry I'm confused when you say maximum of. Surely we should know exactly how many/the least amount we need to drop out tomorrow by now?

one only - at the moment - thanks to Celtic's loss.

BATE and APOEL won - good news.

Salzburg and Steaua play tomorrow leading 2-1 and 1-0 from their home games.

With Lyon in trouble we are ok (likely) for pot 2 at the moment.
