  • Lyon (2-1 down to Astra Ploitesi, with away leg to come)
  • Metallist (0-0 with Ruch Chorzow, with home leg to come)
  • FC Twente (0-0 with Karabakh, with home leg to come)

These look promising:

Maccabi Tel Aviv (2-0 down to Asteras Tripolis, with 'home' leg to come but its at a neutral location)
Sparta Prague (1-1 with Zwolle, with home leg to come but Zwolle are joint-top in the Dutch league)

I think Maccabi Tel Aviv have a worse seeding than us, it was Hapoel, who had a better one.

I completely overlooked PEC Zwolle, there's still a big chance well end up in pot 3, I think we'd have to be very unlucky, but Ludogorets Razgrad aren't a bad side, nor are Mälmo, especially with an away goal to their advantage. Other than Lyon, all the other sides are currently either drawing or winning their ties, so it could end up disastrously.

Can still get Sevilla, Sociedad and Villarreal potentially, or Athletic Bilbao providing they get knocked out, by Napoli tonight.


Portuguese teams aren't so good this time, is Nacional, of Funchal, which is extremely expensive to get to.

Estoril Praia, stadium capacity of 8k and Rio Ave but their ground is small too.
