Ha fair enough, it just sucks that inevitably (a) domestic leagues are going to stop mattering and/or (b) we're going to end up with a world where a bunch of English teams are permanently in Europe and none of them are named Everton. Although I guess (b) has been effectively true for a few decades.

The irony is, if they went back to the sporting ideals of European competitions, they would probably make just as much money and would also get kudos for making the game fair again
