do you remember the Southampton game K when Kendall resigned because the board wouldn't sanction the signing of Dublin. 10,091 I think the attendance was and I pretty much had the whole of the lower Bullens to myself that day, honestly I can't remember anyone else being in there except for me and me mate.

I don't remember an attendance so low for a league game, Mac.....I always thought the 13000 for Cov was the lowest in my supporting career.

Was it maybe a League Cup tie or sommat?

How many chippy's you've had?

Some amazing dinosaurs in this thread

Ok mate, it's not one bit strange to see a woman doctor on the first team bench is it? Jose was a tit as per but she did nothing but add fuel to the flames with her imature behaviour and actually appeared to revel in the limelight at publicly taking on 'The special one' and leaving the club then suing for constructive dismissal over the spat. I dislike Chelsea so I couldn't care less about her getting a pay out like she has, which is obviously all she was after really and took full advantage of the situation, good luck to her but I think after she was dropped from the first team if she had wanted she could easily have played it cool and got her head down and showed the right attitude and worked hard she would have been back with the first team quickly enough, like any first team squad player who's ever had a fallout with the manager usually does, take the Mirralas penalty incident for example, not spit your dummy out and leave the club and sue for constructive dismissal.
She chose not to do that and kept the whole incident in the news for weeks with her publicly taking on Jose and Chelsea and for that reason I think clubs will at least be weary about employing women doctors in the future.
Look at the incident with Andy Gray and Richard Keys, where is the lineswoman now ? did her career get a boost from that or go downhill ? have we seen an increase or decrease in women on the line in the Prem since ? It appears to me that when groundbreaking like that if it doesn't go smoothly for the first ones there is a definite reluctance for others to take a chance, and she wasn't even behaving like a tit, it was Gray and Keys. If you think this has increased clubs desire to employ women doctors you might need your head looking at mate.

I think you need to go away and look at what actually happened. Her "immature behaviour" consisted of one Facebook post where she thanked well-wishers, and a desire to have her day in Court with a case that was so nailed on that her employers admitted offering her north of a million quid and her job back in their opening statement.

Compare that immature behaviour to the behaviour of people who threw a strop because she was doing what she is required to do, called her the daughter of a whore, leaked "stories" about her to friendly journalists, banned her from the training ground and did a whole load of other things that did not come out in court but which by all accounts added four million to the cost of her silence.

The only impact this will have on women doctors / women in the man's game generally is that it will cause clubs to realise that at least a few of their employees are simpletons that shouldn't be trusted with a Breville Sandwich Toaster, never mind millions of pounds of someone elses money.

Wow. Mate, you're a misoginist, there's no debate about it

It is little unusual in that there are relatively few of the women that go into medicine that chose that particular branch but it isn't as though you're seeing a unicorn performing CPR.

Yes Jose was being a tit as per but he was asking both Carneiro and Fearn to ignore their medical responsibilities - doctors have to run onto the pitch when the ref waves them on, which this ref did twice. There is no ambiguity in this - they were perfectly correct in their actions to tend Hazard and Jose was wrong and breaching premier league rules in trying to interfere with them, it is in no way analogous to a player who gets on the wrong side of a manager.

Mourinho then compounded the issue by not only blasting them publicly in the post match comments but also used their actions as a reason for demoting them. Fearn at least was able to travel with the first team even if he could no longer sit on the bench and it took him over six months before he was restored to full duties which I oersonally don't comside "quickly enough"

However Carneiro was banned from all contact with the first team - even if she'd wanted to there was no job for her to "get her head down and show the right attitude" unless you're suggesting she should have made Jose a nice bacon sarnie and cup of team after training or offerred passing strangers medical advice,
