The little turd had a decent first season at Liverpool then his career nosedived into total mediocrity. Served him right.

He also cost at least twice as much as pretty much everyone on that list. I fully understand the majority of Everton fans thinking he’s the worst signing in our history.

The alternative players we have are equally bad and there are no simple solutions until we get better players who can carry the ball and take defenders on. The idea that dropping Sigurdsson will make everything alright is proven to be wrong.

Not sure anyone has actually stated that. It’s just been stated that he’s a very poor player, which has been proven to be true.

When it comes to these players listed, I don't blame the player , unless they downed tools on us. I blame the people at the club who didn't do their homework anywhere near correctly. It's not gylfi's fault we paid 45 million for him. Our club is rotten from top to bottom and run by idiots who know very little about players and football. these transfers bear that out.

We didn’t make any £20m+ signings before 2008 unfortunately.

I voted Sandro. Factoring in his obscene wages over the course of three years, we basically spent close to 25 million on him for a return of one goal in a heavy Europa League defeat.

Sigurdsson is a close second, but at least he has done stuff for us on the football pitch.

yeah we buy players without looking how they fit into our squad or first 11. We always seem to need 6 players every summer.

I've never really forgiven Alcaraz for Dynamo Kiev so I've gone for other.

I've ignored the value for money bit of this, on that basis it's Sigurdsson or Bolasie.
