Don't disagree about Siggy's malign influence at all. I'm just laughing because he's soooo bad he's managed to be less use than a desperately needed centre half reinforcement who was utter utter plop. Quite the achievement.

Yep, Kroldrup was a horror show in that Villa game. At least that was his only game. Sigurdsson though has appeared in 110 league games, and started most of them, across many managers.

Sigurdsson has contributed at points and every manager has found a reason to play him.

He's not in the same category of awfulness as Sandro Ramirez who has cost the club not much less over the length of his contract and contributed absolutely nothing.
