I know where you are coming from, many felt the same. I just liked him and the Everton of that eraI thought he was fortunate to be there as long as he was to be honest.

Football isn’t played on percentages, it’s a results business. If they did, City would have the title sowed up by Christmas every year27% of the ball at home vs Southampton
And we only lost on penalties
Let’s celebrate
LoL ok mate.I am not at all cherry picking mate. Matty said something to the effect of 'will we ever be able to win home games again?' - and I've pointed out that if he'd gone to the past 8 games at home for Everton he'd have seen 6 wins. Is that a team that 'doesn't win at home'?

Pawsons performance in the Iwobi Newcastle game is the worst officiating I have ever seen in an Everton game.I don’t like blaming refs for their performance as it lets the players off, but that ref has been so biased against us these last few seasons.
Ref gave them every decision and some which weren’t even fouls but nothing the other way. One of the most one sided referee performances I have seen for a long time.I thought the ref was fine.
Both penalty decisions were obvious.
The result is that we lostFootball isn’t played on percentages, it’s a results business. If they did, City would have the title sowed up by Christmas every year
Facts are facts, and fact is Southampton despite the possession and shots, only got a draw that night and scored one more pen. In the league they’ve had 78% v Newcastle (lost), 65% v Forest (lost), 63% v Brentford (lost), 44% v United (lost), 54% v Ipswich (drew), 60% v Bournemouth (lost) and 41% v Arsenal today (lost) and are only not bottom because Wolves have conceded 6 more than them
The treatment of Gordon is such a "small club" mentality.
If Everton weren't such a financial mess, he would still be here!

Both were pens… one was given the other not.
Funny we didn’t see the same decision given against Van Dijk earlier today for grappling / wrestling in the box.
All depends on the team.
Because Sky are sky…. Clear agendas each and everyone of them. Why are sky saying that wasn't a penalty and wasn't a foul
If that happens 25 yards out its a free kick all day and no one thinks twice about it
Absolute certain penalty. How on earth was it not given. He's about to slot a rebound into the net.
Gueye should have buried the loose ball anyway but Var would probably have disallowed it somehow.I find it strange that the pen ain’t giving because they say dcl kicked burns, yet I see week in week out players running full sprint and their legs get caught and a foul is given.
It’s obvious they would have given a foul against the defender… the one that DCL kicked apparently.Gueye should have buried the loose ball anyway but Var would probably have disallowed it somehow.
Maybe if he was as good as he thinks he is and he didn’t try to belittle the club who gave him a chance, he wouldn’t get as much stick? The treatment of Gordon is such a "small club" mentality.
