They just sat back and played for the draw defended really well and tried to catch us on the counter. We had a few chances but for the most I think they looked really comfortable, especially as we kept trying to go down the left or through the centre when we actualy looked more dangerous going down the right with Coleman.

Disappointed but not annoyed. They parked the bus, were organised and we just didn't have the quality in the end. Some of the most downright embarrassing time wasting I've seen out there today. We cannot continue to have at least two of our main 5 players injured in games or we will struggle to get top 6, let alone top 4.

We needed Gibson and Mirallas today, the midfield was nowhere a lot of the time. When they're back, Pienaar/fellaini will do their hamstrings though. *sigh*

It's one of those matches that shows you can't play the league on paper. Lot's of Evertonians looking at our fixtures and predicting 4 winds on the bounce. It's never that easy, Swansea's current form suggests its not the best time to play them and it will be difficult playing teams in relegation trouble who will be scrapping for everything.

Thought Fellaini was really poor today, I would say his worst performance since early September. I don't know if he or his representatives have had a rollocking this week, for releasing the buy out clause to the press. But I don't think it's coincidence that after being on the back pages all week he under-performs. In his defense, he seemed to play a lot deeper today. Think today showed he offers more further up the pitch.

Think maybe the injury Moyes said Baines is carrying probably screwed are left side today. With hindsight, playing on a heavy pitch at Cheltenham might not have been the bets idea. So with the left hand side weaker and Fellaini a bit absent our attacking outlets were massively weakened.

Finally, whilst I thought the team started the match at a pedestrian pace, nowhere near hitting the high tempo against Chelsea 2 weeks ago, Moyes options to change the match were massively limited. Looking to his bench I don't think he had anyone that could remedy the faults listed above. Ultimately I fear it may be this inability to change a match that will cost us 4th place.
Thought Fellaini was decent today. He only dropped deeper when Naismith came on for Neville. As for Baines and the left side the fact that Swansea played two right backs down that side to nullify our left had nothing to do with a very good pitch that we played on at Cheltenham the other night. It was nothing like the one that the kopites played on at Mansfield last week.

......all the ridiculous predictions on here. Don't folk realise that every game is a real challlenge and we just need to hang on in there. Chill. We are a very decent side. There's an expression that your only as good as your last game and its never truer than in this day asnd age. Win on a Saturday and its all positive, don't win and its all doom and glloon.

its the result that's frustrating, not particularly the performance--
in no way was today one of our better games, but we all know how we play when we're bad, today wasn't that day.
the fact that we didn't win hurts in light of spurs drawing and the arse hopefully losing tomorrow-- would have been a week to make a positive move at their expense.
that being said- clean sheet, anichebe started instead of naismith (about time), and some decent games to come..

on another day we could have had 4. was just poor finishing really, if jelavic would have stuck that one away at the start where he slipped, it could have been a totally different game. we bullied them from set pieces and really should have scored from at least one of our corners. when you operate so defenisevely as they did today, you need that but of luck where the opposition has an off day with regrads to taking their chances. sadly, our lack of goals is going to be the difference between top 4 and not this season. i.e. fulham away and newcastle at home where we should have buried the game regardless of last gasp equalizers

One of the worst games I've been to. Barely any attempts and they parked the bus. Swansea like to time waste don't they?

Awful.

We lost control of the midfield when Neville went off believe it or not, he might be as fast as a training cone and tackle like one but he's our training cone, and I'd rather him than Naismith.

We had a Real central midfielder sat on the bench. Maybe he could have started. Neville is a complete liability, I think I would rather play with ten, He just gets in the way. And if victor is given the position of right wing he should play it not stand next to their cb. It wasn't working and moyes should have changed it at half time. Not Naismith though.

its a wee bit dissapointing not to have taken 3 points but the other results today weren`t too bad so we never lost any ground.
