Without sounding defeatist, I just want a goal from open play. Some form of intent in the final third, signs that Moyes is beginning to implement a system suited to todays game. Think this is gonna be the hardest game of the upcoming fixtures. Of course a win would be huge, 2 in 3 would be dreamland

I can't predict what will happen - which is a nice change - hope we score some goals.
A win would be stellar - despite only keeping us in the same place.
A loss would be disappointing but i'd be philosophical if we made a decent fist of it.

We have to stop treating every defeat, every misplaced pass, every innocent error, as the end of the world. That’s what’s made it so toxic.
A win would be great of course, but I’ll be hoping to see an improvement in effort and attack as much as anything else. Moyes has made all, and I mean all, the right noises so far.
It seems like we’ve been playing top 6 sides for months now. The most played fixture in top flight football derby is a great place to start the repair job.

Yeah, I think (hope) the combination of Dyche going, new Manager effect, and it being Moyes might crank up the atmosphere.
If so, it should put a rocket up the arse of the players.

I dont think we realistically have a shot at a win against a team of their caliber, but just showing SIGNS that this team can be something it hasnt been would be good. Signs that this squad is capable of more, and theres something for Moyes to unlock over time.
