He only started Branthwaite last year because we got smashed 4 nil at Villa. Keane was his first choice.

It's why I feel good recruitment is wasted with this guy in charge. He'll only play better players if forced to do so. It's also pointless having a deeper squad if he never makes subs. I know it means we're better equipped for injuries, but that's not the sole purpose of squads in 21st century football.
