It's groundhog day we've seen this play out before the same way countless times

If a certain 11 had just finished the season winning 5 games at home in a row without conceding a goal, would you make a whole raft of changes or stick with the core of that team.

I’d have liked to have seen Ndiaye Lindstrom O Brien too, and no one hates Michael Keane more than me. The injuries to Branthwaite and Patterson are infuriating yet again at the start of a season. But it’s really not utterly shocking that a manager starts a match as close as possible to team that’s won 5 in a row without conceding. Is that really worth people losing their heads over?

Keane wasn't in that 11 though, that's the selection people are querying.

I'd like to see N'diaye starting but that would mean fiddling around the wide players and I guess Dyche dosen't want to do that for first few weeks where tracking back and helping out the FB is paramount.

It will be good to see if Doucs can still influence this type of game as he has last few years. If he can't then N'Diaye will be starting as the number 10 within a month I reckon.

Remember this time last year when people were ecstatic to see Danjuma out there. He started the early games, flattered to deceive and then faded out of the picture once DCL got fit.

Maybe that's part of Dyche's thinking in easing N'diaye and Lindstrom in slowly.
