Half time thoughts:

  • Bily is playing fantastically. Looks composed, dangerous, aware and well, KEEP BILY ON FFS.
  • Sometimes you forget Fellaini is just one man; he's everywhere, winning everything, starting everything and looking sexy doing so.
  • Arteta hasn't been that involved but, when he has, he's looked very good indeed.
  • I don't see why Rodwell is the attacking mid. He's scored some beauties before I know, but he just lacks the clinical edge you'd want there.
  • Heitinga -- to my surprise -- has been very good indeed. He's either playing to get a move, or realises he's not going anywhere and has his mind back on us again. Either way, keep it up lid.
  • Saha has looked good indeed. On his day he really does have everything. Hopefully this can be his day.
  • I still think we're going to get bummed.

An early Chelsea goal from the kick off or a silly corner everyone falls asleep on is more than likely to happen in the second half.

Good game, we really should be in front, Saha is looking good to isolated and he gets crowded out with no support or midfeild breakers - worth looking at bringing on Beckford for support and with his pace breaking on the shoulder we could stretch them.

In other news, Mofro has been majestic, Our Teta looks good to compared to previous games, considering their up against Lampard, Ramires and Essien - they are playing superbly - Mofro is our main.

Billys, runs and positional play and some of his vision and distribution is excellent, but again he can at times dally, waste pocession - he needs to work on this - looks a threat in the box and creatively, Rodwell is a gamble that hasnt paid of yet and id consider Beckford coming on for.

Coleman and Baines have been good and effective. Baines is a defender come winger, he plays two positions allowing Billy to drift inside, superb. Coleman similarly is doing a job on Cole both offensively and defesively.

Special mention for Tim Howard, had a really good half, credit where its due!

Look a little shakey at centre half, not that performences there have been bad by Distin or Jonny but Chelsea are always a danger with theri quality.

I hope we're not left to rue, not taking chances in the first half, as Chelsea no doubht will be more assertive in this half, while we put a lot of effort into that half, it may be hard to keep it up for 90 mins. Subs will be important here.

Everything looks good other than the final ball really, Baines and coleman have both done good runs but gave the ball away in the pass, similar to most attacks

Bily is looking so composed atm

Seamus is showing up, Feli is bossing the midfield, Howard is on point, Bily has had a few hiccups but is creating chances and overall playing very well. Awesome to see Arteta beginning to find form. Just may have a goal in him. Baines is looking ace, I really can't complain about anything except that dodgy tit Webb and his awful call on Saha(and several others). COYB lets smash em!

If you're referring to when he stood his ground as Terry jumped on him, then that was the linesman's call. But it was ridiculous, yes.
