Just got back, managed to get 2 extra tickets at the box office , a story for another day, but got my old man there, Main Stand with me and my Son in the Top Balcony and a huge thanks to the wonderful lady and gentleman who help him leave the ground safelyđź’™

Probably my Dad's last visit, was a bit much for him, but was funny to see him get arsey over the turgid football that Dyche serves us on a weekly basis, proper gave it some, well as much as a frail old Toffee could, bless him.

We really are painful to watch and I'm thinking of asking for my cash back under the Trades Descriptions Act, because that was clearly not football in any form.

Started with a positive, end on a positive, that Goal meant so much to Beto, he was in bits, what he lacks in skill he damn sure wants to put in some graft and get on the score sheet, put DCL to shame.

I know we're on a run of five unbeaten games, but that was such a dreadful performance. I just can't see it working with Dyche if this is the kind of performance we can expect, regardless of if we scrape a point.

Ecstatic to see Beto get on the score sheet. Clearly meant a lot to the lad.

it’s not working with dyche

he’s not taking us anywhere

this is what he can only do

Get to the end of the season, say thank you very much & don’t extend the fellas contract.

Was come in to do a job, stabilise it until we got to the stadium but there’s no chance it’s a long term solution.

That, again, is absolutely diabolical. I don’t mind “direct” football but it has to be accompanied with a decent energy, good areas & good football in the final third, I don’t expect an Everton side to pass it out from the back..

But what that was, was sh*te.

That sounds such a negative post about Beto (or am I misreading it). Fair play to Beto for the finish but also for being in the right place to begin with. However, I totally agree about a relief to get a point (an undeserved one imo).
Not a slight on Beto, but I don't think he deserves to be man of the match either for heading that goal in. I agree we did not deserve that point but I'll take it.

The mad thing is, you should hear how many times he's said "we know we can play much better".
He says it because it's true.
We all know we don't have the best squad of players but with the players we have we know we can play much better. Maybe it's down to the way their coached, maybe it's the tactics Dyche asks for but whatever it is, we definitely know that the team are capable of doing better.

I'd be more worried if he came out and criticised the players after every game because that would just hit their morale and he'd lose the dressing room.

Gana carried Doucoure today. I’m not his biggest fan by a long shot and he was often out of position, but it’s hard not to be playing next to Doucoure. Definitely our best player tonight but I don’t think that’s hard. Not sure how many more minutes of Jack Harrison I can take. Has there ever been a more net-negative player?

Yes I know it's true and he knows its true. What I'm getting at is he has no intention of rectifying it. He's like a stuck record and has been since he's got here. He doesn't work on patterns of play in possession. He works on patterns of play when out of possession. It's all about defensive shape for him so when he's saying "we know we can play better", it's a throw away line because he has no intention of coaching them any differently.
