Just got back, managed to get 2 extra tickets at the box office , a story for another day, but got my old man there, Main Stand with me and my Son in the Top Balcony and a huge thanks to the wonderful lady and gentleman who help him leave the ground safely💙

Probably my Dad's last visit, was a bit much for him, but was funny to see him get arsey over the turgid football that Dyche serves us on a weekly basis, proper gave it some, well as much as a frail old Toffee could, bless him.

We really are painful to watch and I'm thinking of asking for my cash back under the Trades Descriptions Act, because that was clearly not football in any form.

Started with a positive, end on a positive, that Goal meant so much to Beto, he was in bits, what he lacks in skill he damn sure wants to put in some graft and get on the score sheet, put DCL to shame.

Give ya dad a hug fella, you can't buy these moments.

Accepted that it will be this crap again most season is all about getting the results and safe this season. Did get out played and is a real lack of creativity in the team. But will look a the postives they kept fighting and got the goal to get a point

We are a much better side when we commit fully to long ball direct football

We didn't really look like we knew what we were doing for 85 minutes today. One minute we were passing aimlessly at the back and the next we were hoofing it.

I'd rather see us commit to being direct and getting up the pitch with people around the striker. I dont think we are good enough to play between the lines and I dont think Dyche knows how to play a passing style.

Was a really odd game. No atmosphere in the ground at all. Possibly the worst I've ever experienced. Even the away fans were silent for most of it.

Shocking football on display as well. Can't believe we got the draw.

Glad all 3 of ye got to the game together. Pitty he had to watch such an awful performance but at least they didn't lose and he got to see a late leveller to make up somewhat for the 90mins before that

Beto said the following after the match:

"It means too much for me, I work hard and even if I don't play I still work hard. I put my head up every week and everyday I want to improve. For me this goal means so much, to be able to help the team, for me it's emotional these past weeks have been really difficult for me but God helped me and here I am today happy and scored a goal. We didn't win but atleast we took a point.

Thanks to the supporters they supported me since the day I came here they always scream my name Beto Beto Beto, as a player I just want to pay back and in my mind I've always thought I'm ready, waiting for the opportunity and today it came. I'm happy to help the team and the toffees"

Glad that our fans have received some praise and that our support has helped.

There’s something strangely beautiful about a well delivered long ball. Especially if it bounces off the head of a lumbering, yet oddly endearing, target man.
