Doing my best to try and feel excited about a last minute equaliser but just don't have it in me. Guess it's better than nothing but the performance was so disheartening it's hard to get upbeat

the performance was disgusting however based on the amount of [Poor language removed] the lad receives keane did everything asked of him correctly neatly etc so he got my MOTM

And where has those behaviour traits got us exactly? Simply falling more and more to irrelevance

What good is bragging about a sexy new stadium if these sort of things are going to go on?

I don’t think some would know what hit them if someone got this club sorted properly and maybe , they might wake up and realise all that “cry arsing” is calling out crap so things could be better.

They really are my son, and as reasoned and well written as your argument is my mind wont be changed, I wouldn't swap places with those beauts for all the trophies in the world.

Just home from the airport after a 16 hour day to go and watch us. The build up and getting to go to Goodison is always exciting . But the football was absolutely awful. Bar the 10 minutes before kick off and the late goal it was a thoroughly depressing experience..
We deserve better

Mangala is head and shoulders better than both Gueye and Doucoure. With no other options at the moment, Doucoure has to be dropped. No idea how he's been able to steal a starting spot as he's hideous as a footballer.

Tarkowski has been our worst centre half this season and was again trash yesterday, despite not directly costing us a goal. Another completely needless and braindead booking. Is Keane staying or going? If they want to offer him an extra year, drop Tarkowski for Branthwaite until Keane's decent spot of form drops, then give O'Brien a go alongside Jarrad. If he's going, tough love and drop Keane for Jarrad now. Tarkowski and Keane does not work.

The club is desperate for a right winger. Harrison again with a woeful showing, poor for their goal and no bite about him. He still doesn't appear to have grasped that you can't physically run through players.

No striker in the world - aside from previous missed 1-on-1 chances, would do much better than DCL in that role. Nothing from Harrison, when McNeil plays like he did today he might as well not have been on the field, and as class as Ndiaye is, it's far too much to expect him to single-handedly win games for us.

Some very simple changes by the manager would get more out of this side, but he's seemingly incapable or possibly already playing for an early payoff.

I gave it to Gana by a mile ,I agree with GT that we still have so many that are not doing it but get their starting spot anyway .
I don't think Dyche is after a quick exit, he has to say the same things week after week and he at least has an audience at the presser asking the questions to give the off pat answers to sate his ego . He wont ever change as he has been a manager for twenty years ........ Oh no ,he has me at it now .

Agreed. We've been crap for years, long before Dyche, it's just that after the highs and lows of escaping relegation for years, everyone's just exhausted. Guess it's "keep it tight at the back and get a new premier league stadium" (KITABGNPLS).

Difficult to weigh up pragmatism with watching an utterly abhorrent style of football isn’t it? Unless you live next to the stadium not going and instead, watching it in a pub with a lot of alcohol to hand is probably the way to go

well that was absolutely dire . It’s our last season at the ground and when you look around people seem to be chatting rather than watching what passes for football . It wouldn’t feel as bad if it was effective but frankly it isn’t is it ? I remember lads swerving the game to stay in the boozer during the Walter smith years , was the football this bad ? I honestly don’t know any more .

Credit to Gueye , who I thought was excellent and Ashley Young who was getting booed as a sub a couple of weeks ago and has been pretty consistently good since .

I think Branthwaite brings out the best in Tarkowski, and Keane the worst Keane is just too slow .. Tarkowski has to be mindfull of the chance of needing to cover for Keane at any given time.

It was pretty awful spectacle. Can't even call it counter attacking football, more like wait for a mistake football, zero creation really until changes.
