We are a much better side when we commit fully to long ball direct football

We didn't really look like we knew what we were doing for 85 minutes today. One minute we were passing aimlessly at the back and the next we were hoofing it.

I'd rather see us commit to being direct and getting up the pitch with people around the striker. I dont think we are good enough to play between the lines and I dont think Dyche knows how to play a passing style.

100%.

Absolutely no problem with us being direct & playing off the striker. Some of the best football we’ve played in years was Moyes doing the same thing with Fellaini behind the striker.

Dyche started with it, he had us quite aggressive, on the front foot, pressing etc but just bang average infront of goal. Over the time he’s been here he’s got more negative. Last night was absolutely crap.

Personal opinion, but after 6 decades of studying the beautiful game, hand on heart I would say we are the worst “football” side in the Prem. Probably after Ipswich and Southampton, and on a par with Leicester, the joint third worst team in the Prem. Southampton game is massive, but wouldnt suprise me we end up in the bottom 3 again at Xmas.

Saying that, I dont think we will go down, but that 4th from bottom place is going to be closely battled for. I do reckon were going to get a few decent players in Jan. we have no choice really. I cant see someone investing hugely in this club, and risking NOT plugging the gaps and addressing our issues immediately. Surely.

Get safe, say thank you to Dyche, but we really need transforming drastically from top to bottom. We have become the opposite of NSNO. We need drastic change and soon. Very soon.

And that is why he needs to be booted out ASAP, yesterday was completely mind-numbing, just a terrible performance .
You`re talking to the converted, I think he should have gone at the end of last season and I`ve been banging that drum for a long time.

Unfortunately the club don`t seem bothered 1 bit unless we get dragged in to serious danger or attendances are impacted, so looks like we are stuck with him.

If the new board keep him when they take over, make no mistake, we are set for more of the same as we`ve had for the last 3 or 4 years. TFG need to make a statement and let everyone in the club know this crap is not acceptable.

Went exactly how i thought it would,we struggled against their movement and pace.

That game is a massive reminder to how far behind we are to the mid table teams.

We look absolutely petrified against teams who can pass the ball.
I think it is more managers like Silva are country miles ahead of Dyche and his one dimensional tactics from a by gone era....

Listen I don't want get into Dyche bashing because there is enough of that going on but that game without a doubt exposed Dyche for what he is.

We looked like a League 1 team compared to them and that all starts on the training ground.

I've been on the fence about Dyche lately but that game without a doubt has convinced me he shouldn't be kept on past this season...It's genuinely like watching a team from the 90s,it simply wasn't good enough.

If Dyche set the team up to defend against Fulham's attacking style of play then he clearly failed, albeit keeping the shots on target low. If he set the team up to counter-attack Fulham's attacking style of play then he clearly failed. In short, he clearly failed.

Flying by the seat of our pants might make for thrilling finishes, but too many wedgies are making me start to walk funny.

I think even Dyche's biggest supporters realise that he won't be here next season unless something dramatically changes be that the takeover collapsing or the team being comfortable in the top half.
