London, Jan 6 (ANI): Manchester City’s Abu Dhabi based owner Sheikh Mansour has written off the club’s 305 million pounds debt.

London, Jan 6 (DPA) Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan has invested $632 million in Manchester City since buying the club in August 2008, it emerged on Wednesday.
A document filed with Companies House Dec 24 shows the transformation of $632 million which Mansour initially put into the club as loans into equity.

That covers inherited debt, the purchases of Robinho, Craig Bellamy, Nigel de Jong, Shay Given, Wayne Bridge, Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz, Joleon Lescott, Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure and other investment in the infrastructure at Eastlands.

Graham Wallace, City’s chief financial and administration officer, said City are “on a secure financial foundation that gives a tremendous platform to build from in future years”.
Well what is wrong with it? We are hardly selling our soul as has been reported. Our academy players have featured hugely so far since the take over.

Stephen Ireland, Micah Richards, Shaun Wright Phillips, Joe Hart, Daniel Sturridge, Nedum Onuoha have featured a lot since the takeover.

Joe Hart and Daniel Sturridge?? You mean the onloan Birmingham Keeper and the new Chelsea striker? Oh and Stephen Ireland? Your player of the year? He hardly gets a game, not to mention your former player of the year Richard Dunne? The Villa defender?

No, your soul hasnt been sold, its been ripped out and replaced with money dollar bills yo.

But your right, nothing wrong with it, just dont pretend it hasnt happened.

No offence mate but i don't see your academy players to be the in the first 11 for long apart from Ireland and SWP.

Besides, Sturridge is now at chelsea and SWP came back from there cos he wouldn't get first team football there.

Onouha is a backup defender who has lots and lots to prove. I'd play Hibbert any day over him.

Hart is a class keeper and I don't see him staying there as you have shown so much confidence in Shay Given who's class aswell and Hart doesn't deserve to sit on the bench.

Regarding Joe Hart. Remember goalkeepers can play well into their late thirties and in a couple of years he will take over from Given.

Ireland has hardly played? Ireland has had niggling injuries all season which mean he hasn't really got going.
Ireland and Wright Phillips were our two best players last season. Both academy products.
Onuoha was one of our best players last season but has been injured most of this season.
In the last two games, Mancini has played an academy player who few people had heard of for a full ninety minutes.

Our soul has been ripped out? Our best player by a mile, by an absolute mile, is Craig Bellamy. He is hardly an expensive foreign mercenary is he?

I can't understand the hatred. If it happened to you rather than us, I would wish you good luck and success as it would be nice to see a different team challenge at the highest level.

The academy will not suffer. If you are good enough you will be given your chance. No question. The oil always rises to the top :).

The only team we really hate is "Red [Poor language removed]" as you can imagine yourself i guess.
As far City go, I personally do not hate them but the lescott saga did take it's toll as had saga not been there we wouldn't have had such a nervous start to the season. Goodluck to you lads, I'll be happy obviously to see City rather than RS in the top 4 until we get to our same awaited destination soon.

Bellamy is a Welsh mercinary... One of the worst in the prem who throws his dummy out the pram when things don't go his way.

Been your best player though

That's what makes him such a good player. He has an unquestionable desire to win. He will give everything he has for the cause and he lifts his team mates. When the heads are down and you need someone to lift the team, someone to produce that bit of magic, you can rely on Bellamy.
He is a nasty little person but that is what makes him such an important player.

But you said your clubs soul hasn't been ripped out because of players like him, who isn't a foreign mercenary. But he's been a worst culprit of being a mercenary than any other player in your team.

No question he's a good player... But I would not be surprised him jumping ship if he's not playing under whatever manager you have next or becomes out of favour ... It's who he is. Doesn't go his way, he leaves.

Is he one of those players that would stay at the club if things went tits up over there, the owners sold up? No. You'd say only Given and maybe Richards would stay cos they've been there before, through thick and thin. Everyone else would scarper.

Regarding the youth etc it's nothing to be ashamed about if it dries up in the quest for success. That's what happens when yove got endless funds

Hart has said he wants to stay at Birmingham, wants Mcleash to buy him after the loan.

Love that Bellamy is hated by the opposition, that's part of what makes him great. It winds up fans even more when he plays a blinder like he has most of this season. (y)

Not gonna go over lescott any further than to say, he's clearly not worth anything near the £24m you got for him, you guys got a great deal, if you see a city fan before the match, you should buy them a pint!

As mentioned in my first post, no matter the outcome the media will go to an extreme but i'm so excited about this match because you're the best team we'll have played under bobby manc AND it's away from home, these are the games that show us what he's really made of. So quite nervous too. Stupid late kick off aswell, not going to be able to eat all afternoon.

run rabbit run..

It's just a bit of envy, mate. Plus, it's easy to be hyper-critical of clubs like City. You can't really say that you get a great feeling from buying your way to the top, can you?

But that's football. I guarantee that 99% of Evertonians would change our structure for yours.

Football is fcuked!

But don't take criticisms to heart. It's just banter, really.
