We´ll do these whoppers .Can´t make a silk purse from a sowa ear .Money or no Money it´s still City .Kanada always fears the worst he´s a glass half empty type .But I thinks he´s glad to be prooved wrong.

Im generally not but this season hasnt been good and we're not 100% the finished article yet but we are getting there very slowly.

Citeh are a good side (cant believe I said that) cos money can by you class. If they were [Poor language removed], we'd steam roll em, but they're not, they're capable of opening up our frailties as we are to them.

Whoever wants it more on the day will win it.

Is Jo allowed to play?

By letting Neill go, Moyes is obviously paving the way for a 2-6-2 formation to stun everybody, 2 fullbacks, no centre halves!
I do not expect new signings, only the kids backing up the first team squad.

However, the face of adversity and all that. These did us over last season and I want to see more passion from our lads than we did then.

Chelski games we let 3 goals in. Spurs 2 goals before the fight back. Arsenal game (who are minus key players) we should've won, were the better side, but still let 2 goals in.

Points being...Citeh score goals for fun. See where Im coming from.

We're getting there but we're still not their yet.

Anyway Lawro has us down for a 2-0 win so you generally go against what he says.

I dont really care if we win 10-9 tomorrow, its the result that counts and those games against spurs, chelski and arsenal although we conceded 7 goals in them the result was positive from our point of view, and you predicted we would be hammered in all of them. Obviously we need to tighten up at the back but im confident enough in the team as a whole with the confidence we have picked up in the last few weeks to beat city

Its a tough one on sat but we are more than able to beat them! they are poor at the back and with king Louis flying at them i'm betting on a Everton win! As you well know i'm ever the optimist!(y)

Tomorrow will be a tough game.
With City, we are poor defensively, we look vulnerable with every ball played in the air and with Cahill, you may exploit our weaknesses.

However, we are absolutely fantastic going forward. We have Tevez who at the moment is the best striker in the league on form. Bellamy who's pace has caused so many defences nightmares, Petrov and Wright Phillips.
Not to mention Barry and Dejong in the centre.
We are outstandingly quick on the break and have the players with the pace and intelligence to exploit any gaps.

It makes for a good game.

Man City will finish ahead of Liverpool this year. As will Spurs and Villa.

Like Neb said, the [Poor language removed] are in real trouble this season and are more than likely going to miss out on Europe all together this season.

They sure aren't going to qualify for the Champions League and that's going to kill them financially.

There are 18 games to go, and Liverpool are only 5 points behind City in 4th place.
It would be a brave man that writes them off at this stage of the season. The other teams lack experience regarding maintaining form for 38 matches, so it will be a very interesting 2nd half to the season.
Heck, we're only 15 points behind 4th place ourselves. A good run could spring us right up there, and Villaespecially went into melt down last year.

Then we have to make sure we finish RS off when we play them on 6th Feb.

But first we have to gain some points from the City game, I should look forward to see how RS do against Stoke!

If Hibbert was out for a months from December we would have seen Coleman a couple more time now, not much used of him injured now when Neville are back, unless Moyes plays Neville as DM, which we know it's not going to happen.

Bet the line-up would be like this again:-

---------------- Howard ---------------------

--- Neville --- Neill --- Heitinga --- Baines ---

- Donovan --- Osman --- Fellaini --- Pienaar ---

----------------- Cahill -------------------

----------------- Saha -------------------

Think Moyes would save Distin for Birmingham so he get another week rest and training under him, Coleman might have a chance at Birmingham, as Moyes might used Neville as DM in that game, we should see what happen then.

Do you think Neill is going to play?

FFs the value of our team against Blackburn was half that figure. So where are you getting that from?

London, Jan 6 (ANI): Manchester City’s Abu Dhabi based owner Sheikh Mansour has written off the club’s 305 million pounds debt.

London, Jan 6 (DPA) Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan has invested $632 million in Manchester City since buying the club in August 2008, it emerged on Wednesday.
A document filed with Companies House Dec 24 shows the transformation of $632 million which Mansour initially put into the club as loans into equity.

That covers inherited debt, the purchases of Robinho, Craig Bellamy, Nigel de Jong, Shay Given, Wayne Bridge, Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz, Joleon Lescott, Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure and other investment in the infrastructure at Eastlands.

Graham Wallace, City’s chief financial and administration officer, said City are “on a secure financial foundation that gives a tremendous platform to build from in future years”.
