As far as the game goes, I dearly hope that the lads can pick up where they left off against Arsenal.

Man City will score at least once, and so in order to have any chance of winning we simply have to go up their end and score goals.

I don't think our players will be afraid of them, but I do think they will be more determind than normal to win the game, which is a perfect storm really.

Everton 3-1 City. (Bily, Cahill, Saha; Tevez)

Im personally not overly confident...but that's just me not counting my chickens before they're hatched.

Ever since the derby, minus the Carslise game, we've got better and even with so many players out we're looking solid and playing some good footy.

Citeh on the other hand can score goals, cant keep em out, and have only lost 2 games. Their attacking threat is superb...and we cant cant seem to keep goals out.

I think the only added comfort is that we're at home. If the atmosphere is poor, we'll be poor. If its good, we'll narrowly get a result.

More likely or so it'll be yet another draw unless some magic happens.

Funny thing is...if we do win on the weekend, their fans will cause a stink and spit the dummy out just like they did at their ground when we beat them 1-0 last season. Get their heavy mob round and all that...yawn.

Haha yeh I remember that, I just remember sitting looking at their "fans" shaking my head and thinking..."Wow, I'm glad my parents aren't intebred"

Apparantly is was outside the ground that they got the "crew" round and rallied together a "meet".....which never happened.

A few on the boards went to the game, they can tell it better.

Lol... But Timmy's goal in stoppage time was pure class... It came out of the blue. Definitly one of the highlights of last season!

yeh they tried to do that the year before, when we beat them 2-0 I remember walking towards Piccadilly train station and one Citeh fan approached me with a bottle and said something like "ill bottle ya, ya scouse c***" or something like that I couldn't understand Sloth language. Even all his mates thought he was a nob as I was walking back on my own I heard his mate say "leave him alone soft lad, he's on his bill"
Dead hard eh?

Wasnt that when Yak and Lescott scored and Elano got sent off for booting Ossie?

I see what you're saying, very confident nonetheless though.

Just have one of those feelings about this game. We will turn up, Johnny H. will batter them, it's coming full circle.
