Job done tonight !

I said a long time ago that Fellaini reminds me of Martin Dobson...... well here's another... The Straq reminds me of Bob Latchford with those "circular" turns after he's laid the ball off - he has the turning circle of an oil tanker, but he gives 100% and he's growing to be loved because of it.

35 years ago the Straq would have been as good as Big Bob, if he's only half as effective now that will do! Well in Dennis, keep that effort up, so pleased for you that you scored tonight.
 
Few points:

-Relatively good team selection tonight by Moyes. I'm unaware of Hibbert's fitness but seeing as Moyes was apparently thinking about starting him he should have been brought on at half time. Neville was utter gash and was found wanting far too many times defensively, which is the only thing he's decent at. Was responsible for the penalty.

-Penalty decision was 100% correct, and in general Webb gave a decent performance. Still feel that a couple more yellow cards should have been shown to Fulham but apart from that he was consistent.

-Drenthe and Baines don't work. Royston is the kind of player who needs to be given time to run at defenders and drag them towards him, opening up space for others. The problem with him being on the left is that he spends too much time worrying about laying the ball off to Baines, and he also loses his ability to cut inside and fire off a shot.

-Denis played well, but he should have been subbed earlier as he was clearly knackered after 50 odd minutes.

-Fellaini is a ****ing beast.

The american commentary was great .

Delighted Fellaini got us the go ahead goal .

Never realised aj had such great numbers when he used to play for Palace .

Yeah,i have to say it was decent considering what people have been saying,probably just good not to hear the usual bunch waffling on about nothing.

Pretty much agree once I'd got used to terms like 'he tried to make the play' etc. And the obsession with the American players. But they seem to give much more of an honest assesment of players performances, strengths and weaknesses with less hyperbole than the average BBC / ITV / Sky muppet
