@fizzer18Good night back in training in the morning massive game Tuesday vs city need to recover quick!

@fizzer18Good win tonight we r in the hat for the next round well done Dennis on his goal he's got his rewards for his unbelievable attitude!

Can we not play Hibbert instead please Moyes!

Get in lads.

Fellaini MOM and Donovan in a close second.

Strac really deserved his goal.

Good counter attacking, good passing for the most part, looking good.

Donovan my MOTM and Felli a close second. He made a few bad passes that could have put us in deep sh*t. His defensive game isn't his strongest point. Still a class act though (was my MOTM a coupe of games back).

Great goals from Straq and Felli. Really pleased that Straq scored, he has the hunger and the passion. Hope he doesn't have a serious hamstring. I think we're all agreed, Saha should never start again, use him as an impact sub Moyesey.

Gibson hasn't convinced me at all yet. Some of his passes were dreadful.

People are a bit too harsh on Neville. He does some good stuff (e.g the cross that nearly resulted in a Cahill goal), but yes, dreadful game overall tonight and he's just too inconsistent. This season will surely be his last, and Moyes needs to start dropping him to the bench more. Let's not forget though that he's given us some great service over the years, and he drips PASSION.

Overall, like others say, our best game for ages, and all the better considering we have some major players injured. Some lovely passing, it looks like they may have been doing some work here on the training field. Maybe Moyesey reads this forum and has got the message, especially as he's gone for a more attacking formation of late and has finally dropped Saha.

I don't think we'll progress far in this tournament, but we can always hope. We really need to be building for next season now. I'm not sure if we'll still have all our big names by then, i'd expect someone to come in for Baines in the summer, and i wouldn't be surprised if Moyes starts looking elsewhere himself. The only hope is that we finally get rid of this Board and find someone who can give us a cash-injection to upgrade the squad, and financial stability (i.e. pay off the debts).

The thing about that cross was that the ball came out to him as if it was being bowled to him. He had plenty of time to size up where to put it and get a good connection on it. When he doesn't have as much time as that, it is either floated to one of our players who is then unable to get much purchase on it, or it goes straight to the opposition. And he's been doing it for years now. You could count on the fingers of one hand the amount of good crosses he has put in during his whole time at the club. Time to be benched for the rest of his contract and then retired.

Neville was proper ****e tonight but he's an old and tired man. I guess MoYLeZ wanted him to keep an eye on Duffy and make sure Hibbo has proper recovered not like usual Moyes BS where he drags half the staff playing injured through most of the season and wonders how come they are never 100%.

Happy with that game, for me the two scorers were the best in the game. Id probably give MoM to Straq because he had a great game. Not only did he score, he chased the ball even when there wasnt much point, almost got the ball just because he closed down the keeper, got a good cross in for Cahill to head towards goal. It was a great performance. His runs were really good too, showed nice little bits of skill aswell! New favourite player.

Duffy was great as usual, when Jagielka is fit, i hope he doesnt walk back into the team, because Duffy and Heitinga are doing a good job between them.

Gibson, Gueye and Baines were quite disappointing for me, Baines played ok but nothing like we have come to expect!

.... and one of those five just happened to be in this game? Yeah, sure. Why use gross exaggeration to make your point and trash a player more than is merited?

I agree that he shouldn't be starting anymore unless injuries force it, but let's give the guy a bit of respect for all he's done for us over the years.

I don't think it's a gross exaggeration at all in all honesty. Nor was I "trashing" the player. I was just pointing out the blatantly obvious. It wasn't an attack on your post which you seem to think it was, going by the sarcastic nature of your reply.
