Even heits was bad. One of those everton days I guess. Horrible season.

Seemed to of caught Neville-itis near the end of just hoofing the ball up into the air in the general vicinity of their penalty area to allow their drfenders to head it away.

You're better than that John.

You just know it will go down to the last game of the season! This is us we're talking about here FFS!

Oh we will beat Villa make no mistake, i dont know whats worse hope or dispair!

Was a pen on Saha as well!

Dont think you can just point the finger at him, he did fine and linked with Neville well.

At least he got a shot on target or got in the box to get on the end of something.

Ossie wasnt doing much. Pienaar played well (as usual) but didnt create anything.

We just held the ball and did nothing with it.

I did say Osman was anonymous. As was our midfield.

That was a bit [Poor language removed] wasn't it?

Thank fuk i'm going out now. I think the place could disintegrate with the amount of posts that Ghost'll be putting on tonight

as far as im concerned thats the season pretty much over now(regardless of wether we win or lose at villa).
i thought although we showed some good stuff today in parts, we were very sloppy when it really mattered.

europe within our grasp , 2 games against 2 of the lowest teams in the prem , 2 bore draws and europe slips away with a wimper and now the 'run in' means a lot less.

injuries mean we had less of a chance of getting into europe .
results against city , chelsea and utd show we can be good enough for europe .
its just a shame that with the great run of form and getting ourselves back in the running , when we got to the businuess end of the season our results against brum , wolves and west ham show we probably dont deserve to be in europe.

well done west ham.

We should have started with 2 up front from the start, especially at home to a side low on confidence.

This current tactic makes for extremely frustrating performances, its just that we get away with a lot of the time. It was aimed at nullifying the top teams.

We don't need it against the lesser ability teams, we should just go out and play.

one week it's great performances, back to the old times almost, and then we can't overcome inferior opposition over 90 minutes, we even had home advantage today, they'll be like pigs in Mierda with this point, they'll be saluting and punching the air coming back from Goodison, I can see it now.

I suppose no team has any divine right to beat another, but it IS frustrating.

did anyone else noticed the pathethic attempt in injury of playing ballsinto their box...... i counted 3 attempts in a row the ball was even played into an area where an everton player was and each time it came back we did the same

thk **** we r safe from relagation

The season ends today. I hope Moyes spend the next 6 mths watching the tapes of our awful performances(a dozen at least) over and over again and improve from there.

That's the worst I've seen us play all season. No energy. No sense of urgency. Sloppy. We strolled around the park as if we'd eaten too many Easter eggs. Either that or we expected the game to be a walkover without putting the required effort in. West Ham came to defend and they still managed 7 corners to our 2, as well as missing a penalty and hitting the bar.

Howard 6- Not much to do. Went to ground early for the first goal.
Neville 5- Didn't stir his troops as much as I would like. Quiet game.
Jagielka 6- Not as composed as at City. Looked to get forward late on.
Distin 6- Generally a fairly decent game. No complaints about the penalty. Still dither too much.
Baines 5- Didn't get forward as much as normal. Needs to play the simple ball quicker.
Heitinga 5- Headed and lobbed the ball back to West Ham too often when he had time to control it.
Osman 4- Hardly had an impact.
Cahill 6- Got stuck in well. Needs to turn and run with the ball when he recieves it in space rather than automatically laying it off.
Bily 4- Aside from the goal he did very little. Seems to be going backwards since his debut.
Pienaar 7- About the only bright spark. All over the pitch, wanting the ball.
Saha 5- Some poor touches. Very little movement.

Subs
Yakubu 6- Looked very lively. Always looking for the ball. Deserved his goal.
Rodwell 5- Only had 10 minutes. Hard to get into the game so late.

LOst it in the first half should have been five up with our dominence what the hell did we think West Ham would do in the second half with nothing to loose!

Ps: The Yak should start everytime!

* Todays match thread is scapegoated by Louis Saha!
