In all seriousness they're ****e and we should be beating teams like that at home. Coutinho, as i predicted, was anonymous. they have one really good player, the rest are bang average.

They best pray Suarez signs a new contract, he's too old and getting too near to the end of his contract to command that big of a fee. He's as important to them as Bale was to spurs, if he leaves the impact will be as great without the money to buy the replacements that spurs did.

They could be in big trouble pretty soon imo.

But yeah, now the dust's settled i'm pretty disappointed we didn't win.

'm quite surprised that anyone seems surprised that these mongrels are still the same ****houses that they've always been. Did anyone think Martinez told them to play nicely now?

Martinez as well thinking he's beeing a good bloke admitting he got it wrong with Stevies "elbow" and refusing to accept that ****s responsibility for a tackle that could have ended Suarez' career, the snidey rake of his studs down his back when there was absolutely no need, and his forearm smash that left Henderson bleeding.

****ing mongrels

to name a few. It was a red ffs, but they're so hypocritical.

Ok, just joining the thread now as I watched the game completely sober cos me beloved Ma had her car booked in for its NCT (MOT) at 2.20 p.m. God Bless her she's 87 and was all apologetic about it.

Overall a fair result, a cracking real Derby and in fairness to the ref, was intelligently arbitrated.

I watched the first half with a pot of tea and surrounded by 50-50 crowd in a D18 pub.

Everyone agreed about Everton's lovely movement but awful defending. The stamp on Baines which ultimately put him out of the game was not mentioned by the commentators.

Miralles was giving serious payback to that awful person who had put him out of the game for weeks a couple of derbies ago - yes he got away with it but Suarez played the full 90 without any genuine problem - his theatrical limping and dying were followed by rapid movement all over the pitch for the rest of the game. The marks on his leg looked to me more like teeth marks??

Be clear, we know he is a brilliant player with an enormous workrate - but he is just awful when he appears to be so badly injured and then recovers amazingly.

Suarez got Rodwell sent off for nothing a couple of years ago and he scraped his studs down the back of Distin's calf last season.

This is the first time in living memory that EFC got some leniency from refs in the derby.

As for Saint Steven Gerrard's elbow - it has the status of an English relic that cannot be criticised under any circumstances.

If that had been Shay Coleman, James McCarthy or last season Fellaini on Gerrard it would have been a straight red - no question - 3 match ban etc -. Gerrard was not even booked. FFS

At 1-2 I was in the car listening to 5Live, waiting for the lad to come for the car to do the test and praying for an equaliser - Next thing its 2-2 and I roared that we could go on and win it...... to myself sitting in a f***ing Micra.

The 3rd goal went in just as the NCT lad arrived at the door to take the car and I jumped out and hugged him!!!!! He said "FFS I hope the car passes too".

I legged it to the nearest pub to get the last 7 minutes and my stomach wrenched as Sturridge scored a spectacular looking, but again poorly defended goal.

The rest of the game was hand-biting stuff.... but as I said, overall I have to say it was a fair result.

Lots of "what ifs"?? for both sides, but I have been shaking hands with Kopites all evening as we all agree that this was a throw back to the great Mersey Derbies of pre- Heysel.

Final note - the Ma's 13 year old Micra passed the NCT with flying colours.

Oh its a Grand Old Team to Play For......."

I know what you meant, and the things I think you were thinking of are not funny at all, but I meant their fume levels and general stupidity, rather than that.

I think it's fair just to say we don't want them angry. It's dangerous. You know what they're like.
