I do think he has a point, though. There seem to be way more managers who were midfielders or defenders. I can't think of any goalkeepers though -- they seem to only go into coaching other GKs.

MIKE WALKER...............SHUDDERS AND RUNS TO A DARK ROOM !!!

One thing is certain, there is no way Mancini would try any of his shenanigans if The Big Man was in charge.

He's started them...

There will be a time when he's in the frame to be an Everton manager.

After Moyes goes, as there are no managers anywhere in the world who could possibly do as well as him we will get relegated to the Championship and sit mid table there for a couple of seasons.

Then whoever actually is the man in charge will get sacked and Ferguson will become our Shearer with fans begging for him to be given the job just because of who he is and what he means to us.

He then takes us down to League 1 cause he's a terrible manager who thinks he can manage off his reputation as a hardman (see Keane, Roy) and reputation among the fans (see Shearer, Alan).

Or alternatively he proves himself as a manager in the lower leagues, and hopefully in the Championship at least and preferably in the Prem before becoming Everton manager.

He'll have to do a managerial job elsewhere and be a success at it. It's like stating that Alan Stubbs will be thought of for the Everton manager's job.

I'm not entirely sure on who will succeed, but i am dreading the thought of having Steve Round as caretaker manager for who knows how long.

He's boss on FM though, Roundy. Took over the england national team on my last save.

I don't think Moyes would leave us/ be sacked until the season has ended, so I doubt you need to worry. But what do I know?

Having Ferguson back as manager, would be as tittish as those bemoobed muppets in geordie land wanting shearer as their manager and then looking befuddled as his zero games, zero badge experience sees them relegated on a magic carpet of ****eness into the championship.

We are Everton. We are better than that.

If Ferguson does his badges and joins some crap team in the third division and gets up to the Premier League that's when you try and get him as Everton manager.
