Dubious about that.
I think Chelsea thought it was a done deal without putting much effort in. Then something must have just made Jose and United switch their attention.
I'm sure he'll be getting a bigger wage at United than Chelsea, especially losing big money names like Zlatan and Rooney.

However they convinced him Utd got him over Chelsea. Whether that be the financial package/vision for the future whatever ... I just found it funny that the "journalist" framed the situation as Rom going with whatever his agent told him to.

I thought he would address those 'minus' points under Koeman and would become the player he could be.
It seems not, which is a pity because he does have the ability to be good.
The constant media stuff, that he was a more than willing participant in, didn't help endear himself to me and others.
So probably the right time for him to go.
