I'm not disputing we have £90M from this, but it's a £75M upfront payment + a promissory note based on some unspecified trigger point.

We put up with that from United over Rooney. At least that United team back then had the success to make the promissory note come good.

Everton have been done up like a kipper again by an OT mugging party. It's Kenwright crying in Ferguson's office all over again.

No he hasnt. Most United fans were shocked that you actually bid for him, thinking it was more just paper talk from his agent to boost the fee from Chelsea.

Griezmann was your first choice. Morata was on the radar. Lukaku, if available, was an option.

He was 100% Chelsea bound. Then something happened that changed it.

Just glad this is now moving to a close, the media will be all over this and he will be built up to feed his ego, problem is he isn't as good as he or his dad think he is, but I am sure he and pogba will have a few new video release.

Yes I will miss the goals but NOBODY is bigger than EFC and our club has managed to get along without him before and we will be fine in the future, cannot wait for next season and watching a TEAM who all want to wear the famous blue shirt.

Dave. This is categorical nonsense.

Time will prove us right just like it did when you claimed Randy Lerner was the best chairman in the league.

I will lay money down we will have a higher goalscorer and better player than Lukaku up front for us within two years.

Not at all worried. Positively the opposite.

Things have changed. We rinsed United here. Rinsed them. Everton already have a load of players in with more to come.

How is it different apart for the inflation?

Same principle: money upfront and money to come...in fact it's worse now because, as said, if it's success related we have no guarantee that this United team can emulate what the Rooney era one did.

There's no way around it: we've been had off. The extra £15M will come in dribs and drabs at United's convenience.
