Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

He's been our first choice striker all summer.

Honestly don't get the bitterness by some fans here especially considering fee. Don't have to wish him well but seems like hsitory being rewritten or his name is being smeared.

Hello mate.
I wancan't you to stay on here as it's good to have other fans views. I think you've conducted yourself well and been very consistent.

However - bitterness! There's none of that here contrary to what you believe. I think as a fan base we're sick of the lukaku saga that has been going on since the moment he arrived basically. The last 6 months of him 99.999% signing, U-turn in that after 3 months of saying it was done, staying in the last few weeks 'going back to everton is not an option'. And many many disrespectful comments over the years with him not wanting to be here. We've just had enough of him and are all too happy to get up to £90m(ffs) from some mugs who will, in the first few games, see what we have been seeing for the last 3 years in the hope he will 'fulfill his potential' - and that's that he can't control a football, can't never wins a 50/50 headed duel, very very rarely puts a shift in, sulks and moans at everyone else, general attitude towards his team mates stink (I've notice some don't overly celebrate with him anymore) and is just an overall bit of a tit.
I believe we as a fanbase have put up with all of that crap at first as the boy can slot - no doubt. But Romelu Lukaku as gradually worn us down with all of the above (especially his disrespectful attitude toward a club that lays him up to £4m per year) to the point now we're we are happy to let him go while pointing out all of his flaws.

It's not bitterness mate. It's a frustrating honesty that I and many others are now writing (personally I wanted to sell him 2 years ago - I can't stand him and stopped cheering his goals at goodison).

Stick around tho to at least December. If you go the game and witness his 90 minute performances as often as I've had to, Let's see what you disagree with what I've written above. He can turn it on no doubt, buts it's the exception rather than the rule.

One more thing - See you in the europa league next February (if we get into the groups).

People can't have it both ways. They whinge about how much we've paid for Pickford and Keane, when 20% of the fee is made up of add-ons that may or may not occur. Then they whinge that we haven't got enough for Lukaku because add-ons don't count in the fee!!!!

How is it different apart for the inflation?

Same principle: money upfront and money to come...in fact it's worse now because, as said, if it's success related we have no guarantee that this United team can emulate what the Rooney era one did.

There's no way around it: we've been had off. The extra £15M will come in dribs and drabs at United's convenience.
Not even close, they've been sold a solution to Zlatan leaving but he is the near opposite - a flat track bully who goes missing in the big games and can't hold play up to bring others into play effectively. We on the other hand have got a good return on an incomplete striker. What are Kane and Aguero worth in your world?

NOW we spend the Lukaku money.

Rooney. Check. Not everyones favorite signing, but we could do a lot worse.
Demberle or Dolberg
Sigurdsson
VVD

Please.

We'll sign more players, Lukaku is more clinical than Zlatan who took alot of chances to score

I expect james to come soon and rumours to julian brandt/Eric dier.

You'll see soon enough the difference between having a player who can score AND be an outball, and having Romelu Lukaku.

You would have been infinitely better off with Morata.

He'll score 20+ goals for you, but if you know your football you'll quickly understand the cost that comes at. You need to hope Pogba et al up their game dramatically if you harbour any serious thoughts of a title challenge.

Good luck to United in all honesty, don't mind you as a club, but I don't think you quite understand what you are buying here.
