Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

Christ almighty. There are ways to leave a club, and this is not it. It's probably a response to the abuse from our fans on social media, but he should still act professionally toward the fans that stood by him during his time here.

Pure Bellend, his agent has had him for over

I meant hot property in the that he was the one on the move this summer.

I'm not sure it's an erratic market. It's one headed only i one steady direction: upward. From summer to summer it's getting more and more inflated.

I'd have accepted close on £75M for Lukaku last season, maybe a bit less. But after this season his fee should have been through the roof without clauses.

He's not the complete player, but he's PL tried and tested. If he gets 20-25 goals for United this season he'll have paid for himself straight away.

He's also only got 2 years of a ~£70k a week contract with Everton. It's all a balancing act

It's still being reported on BBC as 75 million ?
At least they never used a false assistant manager in Walter Smith to sooth the deal this time to get their man - they just used Kenwrongs tearful eyes and we lose 25 million off our asking price - for the pleasure of taking Rooney back on 150 k per week for TWO seasons - BKs trumps again - I have yet to see the official breakdown of add ons just guess work so we will have to wait - atm you are spot on 75 million is all that is being stated for Lukaku when we stated it was an asking price of 100 million!
lets see when the deals go through exactly how Bills dream of the returning Rooney has cost us!
we have still not had a player mentioned to replace our leading goal scorer?

Hi all, my first post, new member.
Well, goodbye Rom, thanks for the goals.
i for one will be pleased to see Wayne back, if it happens, i think he will be good for us.
in 13 seasons at Utd he probably played in his true position for half of them, and still broke records.
Yes, he's not the player we sold, but he can still give us something that, unfortunately, Ross cannot.
Rom's replacement?
For me Giroud would be a good signing, or why not Jamie Vardy?

Same old same old mate.

It just highlights where power resides when we have to do business with the elite: they run 'kin rings round us both in terms of media stuff and final price and conditions of sale.

Make no mistake, we've come up short here...I wouldn't say rinsed . but we have been outmanoeuvred by United.
We've gotten a pretty good deal. I'd say the only mistake is that we sacrificed some of the money to secure Rooney who:

A) They didn't even want
B) Will cost us 150k in wages

Hopefully he finds some form and proves me wrong, but he's on the wrong side of 30 and I doubt he will make much of a comeback.

Such an utterly classless man, we gave him the platform to succeed and this is how he repays us.
He should have kept his mouth shut, acted professionally then he could have left with our blessing. Hope the arrogant bell falls flat on his face ad we finish above them.
