Player Valuation: £40m
Most haven't got any idea, it will all work out well for us.5th most expensive transfer in history and we've got Blues complaining that it isn't enough. Priceless

The only thing that surprises me is the relatively low figure of 75m. But we (according to Everton) haven't accepted any bid anyway. It's hardly come as a shock, rom's going (and he will leave a big void in the side with his goals) however the transfer window up to now has been really positive. Let's just see where we stand come the start of the season, koeman is definately going to change the style of play this season with a higher tempo pressing game, something lukaku doesn't do. His replacement at Everton will want to be part of what Moshiri and the board are trying to create (an ambitious club on the up). Lukaku has shown for some time he doesn't want to be part of that, at least all the players will be pulling in the same direction now, with no distractions.
It is not a part exchange IF both deals progress there will be NO joint negotiationsCan't argue with that one bit.
Don't mind losing Lukaku at all, but it's galling to do so and take a past it player in what is basically a part-exchange.
We'll see though, it's not done until it's done. Still think some games are being played here and some 'respected' news outlets have jumped the gun.
They sold Torres Suarez Alonso Mascherano Benayoun Arbeloa Meireles Reins and were telling everyone what a mega club they were all that time.
Chelsea is only going to be interested if Costa goes. My guess is that we already spent the Rom money and had to unload.
This is not good though. Rom unleashed hellfire on us.....at WBA. Rom has previously tortured Koenman's sides. We just handed Utd a top 4 ticket for the rest of the decade.
No one else find it strange that Real want 75 mil for Morata but Utd won't pay it, then suddenly a phantom bid and deal done arrives for Lukaku for the same amount, Utd don't want Rom its mind games with Madrid
It's fear of the unknown innit
and you know this how? ITK are you?100% blue bill is at the bottom of this embarrassing turn of events
Actually Kone could hold up the ball better£75 million is the 4th highest fee for any player in the world ever. For a player who often can't be arsed and often can't trap a football.
And people on here think we are being robbed? Christ.
I expected Lukaku to go, but given the state of the window, I would expect more than £75m. Records should be broken for a player who scored so many goals especially given that both Utd and Chelsea are in for him£75 million is the 4th highest fee for any player in the world ever. For a player who often can't be arsed and often can't trap a football.
And people on here think we are being robbed? Christ.
I don't think we're being robbed at all but only fair to point out that historic fees are irrelevant. We've just paid £50m+ for 2 English players with 2 caps between them and people say it's great business.£75 million is the 4th highest fee for any player in the world ever. For a player who often can't be arsed and often can't trap a football.

The last 4 names are a bit random. Far from best players at the club at the time.
