Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

£75 million is the 4th highest fee for any player in the world ever. For a player who often can't be arsed and often can't trap a football.

And people on here think we are being robbed? Christ.

I think it's closer to £90m. I reckon Rooney will get a massive payoff from United and we'll pay him around £125k a week instead of double that.

Which is... fine I guess, but I'd just prefer us not to be Rooney's retirement home, like we all predicted we would be five years ago.

Funny how this has caused people to stop thinking rationally

Fwiw, I absolutely don't want to lose him. I understand people's frustrations with him but he can be an absolute monster when he wants to be and is a goal scoring machine and that's going to be very hard to replace.

Having said that, if the £75 million figure is accurate, one of the biggest clubs in the world are offering the 4th highest transfer fee ever. Not a lot we can do about that is there? Hopefully that money is spent wisely

I'm going to really miss half of the goals Lukaku scored last season they were the important ones, the other ones were the 3rd or 4th goals against a bottom half team so they were basically meaningless. Even with him in our side we haven't beaten Arsenal,Chelsea,Liverpool away in the league he's hardly a so called big game player we are going to miss as he just doesn't turn up for them, 90 minutes of watching hi. wandering around I can do with out.

If we spend £40m of it on that Benfica lad I'll weep actual tears.
