Because nothing is sacred in my world. And it is a great record, but no substitute for trophies.Wow - it's a proud record of being good enough to play in the top flight for so long. Why you gotta make fun of it?

Doesn't make it exciting though, does it? We're never in danger of doing anything at all, good or bad. Being promoted from league 1 to the championship is obviously exciting for the fans and that's clearly what this thread is about. Who got more joy last season; the league 2 playoff winners or us?Couldn't care less about promotions/relegations. Means you have to be worse than we are.
Top division, Europe, or cups that everyone is in (FA, League) are the only things that matter. How many clubs have actually won those?
I'd take Pre-United Rooney over this version of James every day of the weekOne of the most gifted footballers, if not THE, we’ve had in my lifetime will have more than likely played his last game for us before any of our fans got a chance to see him live.
I've had this conversation with mates before; would you prefer Norwich's up/down almost every year. Is it better than the numbness we endure? Honestly, I can't decide.I would take relegation if it meant winning the championship. Midtable mediocrity is worse than being a YoYo club.
We're not though; no one cares about us except for a few Reds who like to laugh at us.We are the meme club we are the joke that keeps on giving to other clubs. As supporters we have to suffer the humilation and despair and failure.
Probably the most stunned i’ve ever been at Goodison that night!
