About time something was done hope it is not too little too late.
I get the guys being appointed to deal with external partners, what I don't get is the matchday revenue guy. Unless the hospitality suites are low occupancy so need extra promition, then the only real difference to be made is ticket and season ticket pricing as I thought food and drink was outsourced to Sodexo, long term tie in to the printer producing the programmes.
Hopefully, it will mean things come back in house in the longer term re replica shirts and they can be a little less likely to take what appears to be the easy option for shirt sponsors.

Lets be fair here lads. This is the club who ditched the club logo without warning to 'modernise the brand', had a huge fan backlash and they then let the fans pick, and the winner came pretty much the exact same badge as we had before!
Did they hire someone to make that decision? That's the thing, how many decisions will be made by newly recruited staff who need to make a impact to wow their employers? Our club has a horrible record of this!

People complain that nothing is being done on the commercial side of the club, people complain when something is being done on the commercial side of the club....No change there.
I think that we have been very weak on the commercial aspect of the club..I welcome these appointments.

Because they amount to the same thing with this lot in charge: no substantial change.
They cant be game changers unless they've been brought in to sell the club to some other party. And we know that wont be the case. They are the next batch of flunkies and yes men to try their hand at plaiting sawdust.
