Since Dave can't do it here is a list of CF I would like to see us go after.
Timo Werner - has a 54 mil release clause
Maximiliano Gomez - probably around 40 mil for him
Lautaro Martinez - has a 30 mil release clause
Kasper Dolberg - would need time to develop but has great potential
Josef Martinez - Would be a risk but has dominated MLS
Jonathan Calleri - Has good potential

If we want a proven EPL CF then we will be paying stupid amounts of money to get one and I believe that would not be the best use of our money especially given Brands history of being able to find good talent.

Werner- can't see him wanting that move he's been linked with Bayern before
gomez- don't know much about tbf
Martinez- only just moved to inter, they wont sell him
dolberg-is he even that good, he scored 6 goals last season in a shocking league
Martinez- don't know him but wayne rooney is looking good again in the MLS so that's all the info I need

Going into the season with Tosun, Niasse, DCL, Richarlison, and Walcott capable of playing CF is a decent risk to take if you can't address EVERY issue in a single window.

There was at least £50M to be had easily if Lookman was sold too. Besic, Lookman, Mirallas, Williams, Sandro, Vlasic.

The feller couldn't sell them and ended up loaning them out, apart from Lookman who never looks like he wants to be here.
