Dave continues with the idea of an error being made by Brands that a striker was not signed. yet has not at any time produced evidence of such a failure, it is merely his feeling.

It's more than mere long-line fishing; it's a trawler netting.
I wanted the best. Ive seen a 5/10-6/10 performance.Well, you ARE the foremost expert in lazy caricature...
We all know what you hoped for with Brands, thankfully wiser heads are in control.
Not my recollection. I seen him half a dozen times to confirm my initial doubts. He's a Jack of all trades master of none. We need as good a replacement for Lukaku as we can muster. Someone who can just bang them in and be on the spot to do so. There is no one remotley like that on the club's books. That was patently obvious since RL left.I seem to recall Tosun finishing last season looking good ...perhaps thats why they went for the LB and other backs YOU were demanding as priority at the time
Two crocks he signed. Richarlison is Silva's signing. Digne and Bernard probably down to him as they fit the bill in terms of taking talent being wasted by CL clubs.
4/10, maybe 5/10 for the summer work he did.

I haven't lost hope in him though.
I bumped it up a point because of the whingeing from the Brands Cult on here.Don't worry lads he'll be up to 7/10 - 8/10 in a few more weeks

You're the high priest of the cult.10/10 from me.

There is no cult you wumming lunatic, just a general consensus, that he`s done a very good job since he`s got here.
And I dispute that assessment. He's brought in one player who fits his MO at PSV (Digne) and he looks a big success. The rest are either doing just about ok or we haven't seen them yet. The loan deals he cut should have been fewer and there should have been more sales. The failure to spot th lack of firepower and actr on it last summer is his biggest oversight.
We really do set a low bar at this club. No wonder the powers that be at Everton have felt no pressure to end the 23 year drought of trophies.
You're the high priest of the cult.
