Everton Brands Appointment Confirmed

I personally can't believe he never shipped out all the crap and signed all the players required to replace them in one window. In a world cup year as well. Get him out.

And I dispute that assessment. He's brought in one player who fits his MO at PSV (Digne) and he looks a big success. The rest are either doing just about ok or we haven't seen them yet. The loan deals he cut should have been fewer and there should have been more sales. The failure to spot the lack of firepower and act on it last summer is his biggest oversight.

We really do set a low bar at this club. No wonder the powers that be at Everton have felt no pressure to end the 23 year drought of trophies.
How would you know thou TELLY CLAPPER

Not my recollection. I seen him half a dozen times to confirm my initial doubts. He's a Jack of all trades master of none. We need as good a replacement for Lukaku as we can muster. Someone who can just bang them in and be on the spot to do so. There is no one remotley like that on the club's books. That was patently obvious since RL left.
So you have seen him 6 times from the comfort of your armchair and your giving up on the lad . Jesus

Maybe the carpetbagger wouldn’t give him the cash

I would disagree with this, there is a clear sea-change in not accepting mediocrity since we changed owners. We have invested heavily and have acted in ruthless manner if someone appears not up to the job, be that players, managers or DOF.

The owner is mediocre.

We got less matchday income than Hull did a couple of seasons back, are we spending like Hull? You moan but it could be a damn sight worse.

We all want what is best for Everton right? (Ok bar from a few a RS lurkers...) So if Moshiri said screw the FFP, started buying and paying players stupid money, if that didn't work we would end up like Leeds. I know for a fact from the stadium thread that your view is to make sure the club survives first and foremost. The squad is the best we have had in a good while, the team look to be playing better, if we keep on at this rate we will be up there. That is all you can hope for and certainly far more than we ever thought possible a few seasons back.

Things gave gotten worse since the carpetbagger tipped up. We are also rans when we were top consistently top 5/6 contenders before he came; we got value for money; we were respected.

They did and they have started now to look up again. We were the best of the rest but for a myriad of reasons (which I know you don't agree to) that changed and they include Martinez taking us back steps and other teams not performing and City and Spurs adding to that 5.

I think we will be respected far more over the next few years than we ever were back then.

Before Usmanov rocked up Martinez has us in the bottom half of the table for two seasons on the spin.

He's not the messiah, but he's not a very naughty boy either.

Time will tell, try having an open mind.
