Sky reporting that both Everton and Hadjuk Split have been charged over the crowd disturbance last night. The question needs to be asked, what exactly did Everton Football Club do wrong?

Not enough police surrounding their fans. I think.

Main thing.

Everton's fans were kept under control and anyone who got out of the PE (about 2) got escorted out the ground.


Once the police were in a row in front of them they went quiet.

Everyone knows this. Hence generally no one throws anything because you cannot do anything pitch-side at Goodison without it being seen.

That is well known.

I know a load of the Everton Disabled Supporters Association (ESDA). They know what its like down there in the Paddock as they sit in a row right near to the away fans.

The ball boys are right in front of this lot and they're only kids.
