Del mate theirs a reason cazorla went that cheap tho lad, malagas sugar daddy pulled the plug and they had a fire sale, they payed like 21m a year before and then he had a blinding season with them, without the financial collapse he would have been well over 30m, incidentally pointing out the fact everton never seem to capitalize on stuff like that due to having 2p budget a year

If Mata was worth £23m when he went to Chelsea, Fellaini ain't worth £24m.

It really is amazing how lazy websites and some media are.

Click Manchester the latest website to blindly write that a fee has been agreed for Fellaini, based solely on that false twitter report last night.

It really is pathetic how many people can't be bothered to check their facts anymore.

Greg from the Echo has already checked with the club last night and it simply isn't true.

Or

Utd do not rate him at 24m and will only offer 20m with add ons, Balls in our court then and it all depends if Martinez/Board want to cash in

As I said this time next week we will all know

Agreed the ball is in our court mate, funny thing is its not too long you have to look back at almost an almost repeat scenario of Moyes trying to get someone in, failing and then having at the last minute to switch to a secondary target, regarding a certain mr moutinho and fellaini, funny how the same player has fallen into the next best option role again for him, lets just hope that like last time he decides to overpay again.

Bales's not worth £90m, so why are Madrid about to pay it?

It's up to us what price we put on his head & it's up to whoever might want to take him, whether they choose to pay it.

If Jordan Henderson is worth 20m in 'todays market' fellaini is certainly worth 30m.

Henderson was never worth £20m though. Dalglish told his board it was 'worth' paying that because he sold them his old-fashioned vision of a mainly British side and for some reason they were prepared to pay wayyyy over the odds for all of them, but especially the young English ones like Downing £20m, Henderson £20m and the cherry on top of Carroll £35m.

They were never worth it to anyone but Dalglish and can't be used as a comparison.

If Lescott was worth 24M when he went to Man City, Fellaini is worth 50M

Except it's well known that City overpaid and did so because they were happy to spunk money in pursuit of Champions League football.

Using players like Henderson or Carroll when those transfers were laughed at precisely because of their cost is a stupid exercise.

Fellaini has been linked with plenty of teams in recent years but when it's come down to it none of them even went for him at 23m, arguing he's worth 30m when the only firm bid is from a man desperate to sign somebody is mad.

Of course they can be used as comparison, as they're all examples of the selling club putting a price on the head of their player, that was beyond his true market value, but being under no pressure to sell, they could ask what they liked...

The Carroll example being the most extreme & his price was driven by the fact it was deadline day & the ****e were desperate to replace Torres.

Martinez said Everton does not need to sell our best players given our finance.

I wish Kenwright grows some balls and thus telling his mate to Koff. If Man Utd and Moyes are not willing to pay £25m up front for Fellaini then they can Koff. This is ridiculous, the media is making us like we are desperate to get rid of Fellaini, begging the mighty Man Utd to take our best players. They really can go and fk themselves the media.

It's the media feeding frenzy that has been worst about this window. They get worse every time, but ths summer it's sickening the way they've been willing the "big clubs" to snap up Fellaini and Baines, as well as Real Madrid to snag Bale, Liverpool to sell the biter, hanging on Jose's every word as he signs more of Europe's young talent for Chelsea's reserves, and hanging Wenger out to dry because he's signed no one yet.

Bale is worth 90m, he'll make Madrid tens of millions of pounds a year in merchandise sales alone, that's aside from the fact that he's a top, top player.

hahaha, so you're seriously going to try & argue a case why Bales is worth £90m?

Not even Bale would agree with you, but I'm sure it won't stop you trying
