Steve Claridge on the Football League Show live on bbc just said even £38m even though it's 'close to the valuation' Everton won't want to sell them. Well in Steve Claridge. He said Everton 'won't want to sell'.

You're a crazy person, Essex Blue.

I'm yet to see him get the best out of a strike partner.

Well I have been saying that he is worth about 20 million for ages now, and I think that's about how much he will end up going for, to a manager who regularly chose to play him upfront. It certainly won't be for the 25million+ some people value him at.

I didn't say he makes our other strikers (who are crap) score more goals, I said he brings other players into play in an advanced position, which includes wingers, full backs and central midfielders. He doesn't try to take the world on when the ball is played to him, he very often passes it to one of our players in an advanced attacking position.

We are going to massively miss Fellaini's attacking prowess this season, whether it's because he goes to United or because Martinez plays him further back.

Its not the fact 38 million sounds okish but it leaves us very little time to resign quality players to replace them if they go we will be in a relegation fight! Dithering DM should have bid this ages ago and we would have got 40 million - If BK bows down now he will be lynched by Blue Union marches - it far to late and the bid has still not come in as yet!

It's probably redundant as he is almost certainly going to join United, but for me the best way to play Fellaini is alongside a disciplined holding midfielder (i.e. Gibson) who gives him the freedom to run riot.

While he isn't blessed with great pace, he does have excellent stamina and is able to affect the game all over the park when he isn't saddled with a specific job, be it in front of the defence or up in attack. He wins the ball as well as anybody and has an excellent short passing game, and when Gibson is next to him he's still able to contribute in the final third.

I can't understand why anyone would want to restrict such a handful of a player to one area of the pitch when he could be causing chaos all over the place.

It's all up to Baines and Fellaini. If they want to go then they'll be at Old Trafford soon enough.

I just hope Martinez is preparing for life without them, we can't afford to play until January without adequate replacements being brought in.
