Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

Moyes is either a tight fist or he trying to get in more players on a budget, maybe he max out at 50 million. Fellaini and Baines for 30 million, which leaves him 20 to play around with

Absolute nonsense. We have the best centre half pairing in the league by a million miles, Rafael is the best young defender in the country, Carrick is one of the best midfielders in the league, our keeper is the best young keeper in the world and when on form Nani is world class though he is extremely inconsistent.

It's not about United though

Go on, tell us the truth.....with comedy like this you've just got to be Steve Coogan under a pseudonym....the red version of Paul Calf if you will.

We've needed a midfielder for five years, seriously, it was Fergusons blind spot and I'm not arguing that we don't need one.

I'm just slightly disappointed that it's going to be Fellaini, I don't disagree that he's better than what we've got, I said that right from the start but it seems to have been completely overlooked.

Joking aside, trust me mate, if you get Fellaini you will not be disappointed. He is so different to anything else around at present, and he can control a game at will. Personally, and may Blues will disagree with me, but he is more crucial to our future than Baines, albeit Baines is a top, top left back and IMO a better all-round playr than Evra who I rate highly.

Simply, Fellaini is top drawer. Moyes knows it. If I were him I'd have said £35M and get the deal done for him alone - I rate his influence on a game that much. That said, if you offered £35M for him I'd want Kenwright to reject the offer.

Why is this all so complex? Why can't we say £50m for both, x amount for Fellaini alone and x amount for Baines alone - we will NOT accept any different. Why doesn't that happen?

We can say that, doesn't mean this will go any differently.

Sadly, I think they have...:(

I really hope the fee is in excess of 25 million...doubt it though...

Said the same to my United supporting mates. He'll take a massive work load from Carrick.

Some fella from SSN is saying that United are "edging closer" to a deal for Fellaini. I have absolutely no idea what that means.

I may be a clutching at straws, but I think it means they are edging closer to a deal for Fellaini?

Don't quote me on it though lad.
