It's not mental at all. However, their priority has to be midfield - it simply isn't good enough compared to comparable teams in Europe.

Also, if you seriously think David Moyes would just make a signing for the sake of it, you have a lot to learn about David Moyes. The man is clinical in the transfer market. I detest the man, but he is by far and away the best transfer market worker I have ever seen.

Baines and Fellaini would offer you something completely different to what you have now, that's why he's after them. Fellaini will offer a battering ram up top against stubborn opposition, allowing Kagawa etc. to pick up scraps, whilst Baines provides an attacking outlet you simply don't have at present.

No disrespect but you just don't understand football outside your own club if you think Evra isn't an attacking full back. He's like a second winger for us and is honestly one of our most dangerous players going forward.

I'm banging my head on a brick wall with you though and it's your forum so I'll leave it there.

Indeed, that's why they're in for Fellaini/Fabregas/De Rossi etc.

But once you sign someone in that role, where else do you go? Centre halves are no problem this year, you have van Persie and Rooney up front, Kagawa as support. They're strong everywhere other than central midfield and the offensive full-back areas, possibly wide right too.

Even SAF recognised it - Buttner brought in last year but isn't the finished article.

Evra is a very good player obviously and is definitely better than Baines defensively, but there's simply no comparison between the two when you're talking about attacking options.

Yeah, I don't understand football. I assume your own manager doesn't either then, given he's in for him.

Bold bit - where are the stats for this?

Could you try having a word with Moyes, that may persuade Him,then we would all be happy.

Baines would add a lot to their team, I don't even think he's any worse than Evra defensively. There's no doubt they should be looking at him as Baines on one side and Rafael on the other would be devastating. But they haven't bought a CM yet, meaning that I'm guessing if they brought in a quality CM then I would guess the MU fan would surely have no problem with Baines being bought - however as they haven't yet bought a CM that is why he is unhappy with the chase of Baines.

If this isn't the case then I'm out of ideas as to why he wouldn't want Baines.

No mate, read the above, they genuinely cannot see any reason to be in for Baines full stop. They honestly think he'd sit on the bench and that Moyes is only in for him because it's "the easy transfer to make".

That's why I'm laughing at the lack of footballing knowledge.
 

No way Man u board will let Moyes give us 45 million for two players, there is a reason why Man u hired Moyes cos he can spot bargains. This is why Moyes spat his dummy out to the media as we wouldn't let him have our players cheap.
 
Who give a flying **** about Utd,Liverpool or any other team except Everton

Hopefully Utd and Liverpool volley each other to bits tomorrow resulting in mass injury
