Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

But is it really Moyes who sets the bidding prices?......surely he just names the targets and the board do the rest...
 
I recken the board would take 20 million for Fellaini and 16 million for Baines due to his age. 36 million for the both would satisfy the board.

Dont try and excuse this offer with that load of b*llocks. He knows full well how a 5hitty offer like this looks. Him and UTD are ripping the pi55 out of us.

Very true and I think this summer has been good for club power over player power so far however with Blue Bill being the coward and money grabber he is I wouldnt be surprised if he did sell one if they handed in a request

The different is we could do with the money and maybe buy better players in the long term, Spurs and the rs know they wont get better then Bale and Suarez and Man u know selling Rooney to their main rivals will be a mistake.
 
Any respect (and it's not much!) I had left for Moyes after the way he left Everton has just evaporated totally. He is now in panic mode, trying to prove to the prawn sandwich brigade that he can attract players to that horrible club!
I can see Fellaini going (but hopefully only at £23m+), but don't honestly believe Baines even wants to consider it!
I for one hope Moyes is given enough time to ruin that club!

Well who else would decide what players he wants? Manager gets a budget to spend, manager has a valuation of a player, speaks to the board and tells them how much of his budget he wants to spend. The board aren't clued up like a football manager. The board will then confirm to the manager if they are to go ahead with his request and submit the bid.

I don´t believe Kenwright is a coward but I do believe he is a bad negotiator and under massive pressure to provide funds for player recruitment. Money he doesn´t have have unless he sells.

I am not...I am truly insulted by the bid....I just think it is their cheap cvntish board doing this not Moyes...I think he has some respect for the club he managed for 11 years...or maybe you are right and he thinks that because Blue Bill and him are F@ck buddies he can get them on the cheap for an added reach around....
